North Carolina Ice Climbing
Granite Arches offers ice climbing guiding and courses in North Carolina. We offer beginner courses on shorter, easier ice climbs and advanced ice-climbing instruction and backcountry multi-pitch ice climbs for the experienced or adventurous.  

Cold conditions are necessary to bring in the ice in the southeast.  However, once ice is formed in the southeastern mountains, it can stay for a long time, even into the warmer weather periods.  To check current conditions, click here.
