Day 1 Arrive Lima.  Your guide will meet  you at the  airport, and escort you to your hotel.

Bus ride to Huaraz (8-10 hours).  Stay at Hotel El Patio.

3 Market morning.  Sightseeing.  Group exercise afternoon. 

Ishinka valley Base Camp Trek (4100m)-today we van ride to Ishinka Valley, and then trek to base camp with full burro support.  This stunning valley sits directly under Tocllaraju, Urus, Ishinka, and Ranrapalca.  

5  Summit Ishinka.  Snow and ice climbing practice.  Crevasse rescue procedures learned or refreshed.  Return to basecamp better fit, tired, excited.

6 Return to Huaraz. 

7 Private van to the village of Cashapampa, the entrance to the Santa Cruz Valley and Alpamayo. 

To Alpamayo Base Camp (4200 meters). 

To Moraine camp on Alpamayo.

10  To Col camp on Alpamayo.

11  Attempt Alpamayo

12 To base camp.

13  To Cashapampa early, then Huaraz.

14  Huaraz to Lima.
